NASA's Perseverance Mars Helicopter is busy with Mars jezero, while NASA's Perseverance Rover is also on the ground. They are hundreds of thousands of kilometers from Earth. The first gallery displaying beautiful photos taken by the rover is on MARS and will be displayed at the "Les rencontres de ciel et espace roadshow" in Paris. French Association of Astronomy, Cite des sciences et de l'industrie, and Rencontres du ciel et de l'espace are happy to welcome MARS exhibit on November 19, 20, and 21.
onMARS will be held at the heart of the ultramodern Cite des sciences et de l'industrie, Europe's number one science museum.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view images and scientific data from Mars surface and Mars rover perseverance, which is currently collecting information on the red planet's jezero.crater. This show demonstrates different aspects of Perseverance's campaign. It includes Perseverance landing site, visible rock, and scientific instruments that the rover actually uses.
NASA's Perseverance Rover landed on Mars in Feb 2021. It has been looking for evidence of ancient microscopic life to collect and store samples from Martian rock near its landing site, the mars jezero.crater. Perseverance's rover rode the Ingenuity helicopter on his stomach and dropped it on the landing site. This helicopter has been on more than a dozen missions to Mars. This shows that it is possible to fly on Mars powered and controlled. Perseverance rover also uses this information to identify potential areas on Mars to search for ancient life. Nasa's mars-rover mission is collect samples for possible return to earth.

On Mars prints are now available t. They include the most recent images from Mars and give an accurate representation of the environment that the rover encounters while exploring this planet.
Along with the stunning photographs shown at the MARS exhibit, Ingenuity scientists and engineers from Perseverance Rover & Ingenuity will present some amazing conferences in person.
Saturday, 20 November 2013: (13.45) Exploration of Mars and Search For Life with Sylvestre MAURICE and the European Space Agency
Sylvestre Maurice, an astrophysicist with the Institut de recherche en atrophysique et planèteologie. He is a planetologist who specializes in the exploration and discovery of the Solar System. Sylvestre Maurice participated in many European Space Agency (NASA) solar system exploration missions. With American collaborators, he contributed to the discovery and exploration of water ice at Moon's poles (1998).
He has coordinated the construction of Curiosity's ChemCam instrument with Roger Wiens, Los Alamos National Laboratory. This instrument, along with other instruments, provides the first French data from Mars' surface in 2012. It also allows for the demonstration of Mars' past habitability.

Francis Rocard is a Doctor of Science in Astrophysics (1986), from the University of Paris-Sud. He began his career at the CNRS as an astrophysicist and was part of the IKS experiment of the VEGA mission in 1986 to fly above Halley's comet. In addition, he participated in the ISM mission of the PHOBOS88 mission to study mineralogy on Mars' surface.
He joined the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales in 1989. There he was responsible for the solar system exploration programs. He was responsible for MARS-96, the Russian exploration of Mars, CASSINI-HUYGENS, the study of Saturn and its satellite Titan, in collaboration with NASA and the European Space Agency, and ROSETTA for the study a comet.
He has been responsible for the coordination of Mars exploration programs through the MARS EXPRESS, NETLANDER and longer-term sample return missions.
Sky enthusiasts can meet at the largest European sky club
The Rencontres du Ciel et de l'Espace has been the most important European gathering place for curious and sky-lovers since 1998. In 2018, more than 6500 people visited the Congress Center at the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie. Over the years, this meeting has been a staple in the astronomical community.
The Rencontres provide a two-year tour of space news through a variety of themes and events. Researchers, astronomers and industrialists are all present.
